Day 1 (Arrival Day)

Barcelona

After recovering from your journey, you’ll meet your private guide who will introduce you to Barcelona’s old historical quarter. Your tour will explore a mix of different neighborhoods, each with their own allure. See medieval churches in the Gothic area, the funky boutiques and artisan galleries in the Born section and the winding, twisted streets of El Raval. Your tour will end at the Picasso museum, where you can admire some of the artist’s most famed masterpieces.

Day 2

Barcelona

Today is a day dedicated to seeing Barcelona through the eyes of famous architect Antoni Gaudí. Your expert guide will lead you through the sophisticated Passeig de Gracia, a street lined with high-end shops and beautiful buildings. Here, you’ll be introduced to Gaudí’s famous houses, the Casa Milà and the Casa Batlló. Your day of Gaudí continues with a visit to the world-famous Sagrada Familia, a striking display of creative art and design that will soon be the tallest church structure in the world once finished in 2026. Next, stop to relax and wander through the Parc Güell, where trees and flowers sit next quirky tiled lizards and gingerbread houses, all overlooking the backdrop of Barcelona and beyond. Once the sun sets, learn to bring a little bit of Catalunya into your own kitchen with a traditional tapas workshop (yes, you can eat all of your meticulously prepared delights at the end)

Day 3

Barcelona, Costa Brava

Get out of the busy city with trips to some of the most picturesque medieval villages of the Costa Brava like La Bisbal, Peratallada and Pals. After a quick lunch, you’ll visit Figueres for a tour of The Dalí Theatre and Museum. Once you’re transferred back to Barcelona, the rest of the day is free

Day 4

Barcelona, Madrid

After a quick jaunt on the high-speed train from Barcelona, you’ll arrive to Spain’s heart and soul — Madrid. Once there, you’ll have to time to take in the wonders of this authentic Spanish capital, with its boulevards covered in trees and fountains lined with impressive buildings.

Day 5

Madrid

Spend your day with an expert guide visiting Madrid’s most beautiful spots including the Plaza Mayor, the Puerta de Alcalá and the fountain and square of Cibeles. Then, you’ll visit one of the world’s most famous art museums, the Prado, known for its Goya, Velázquez and El Greco masterpieces. That evening, your flamenco guide will take you to the best show in the Madrid (perhaps in all of Spain). Although this culture experience has roots are in southern Spain, Madrid is known for having the best flamenco, as the most talented dancers, guitarists and vocalists all come to the Spanish capital to share their art form with the world.

Day 6

Madrid, Toledo

Toledo is just under an hour from Madrid, but it’s an entirely different world, one melded together historically by three distinct cultures: Christianity, Judaism and Islam. The unique combination of architectural styles and history gives this city a famous legacy, one with a stunning cathedral, Jewish Quarter, synagogue and more. You’ll also have a chance to feast on local delicacies during lunch before returning to Madrid.

Day 7

Madrid, Córdoba, Granada

Another hour and a half on the high-speed train and you’ll find yourself in Córdoba, known for its incredible cathedral-mosque, synagogue, Old Quarter and the Alcazar, which you’ll be able to visit during your walking tour with a local expert guide. After a lunch of traditional treats, a car will take you to Granada to check into your hotel.

Day 8

Granada

Your morning will begin with a captivating tour of the Alhambra, a mystical fortress and palace that many called the eighth wonder of the world. With countless rooms and the charming Generalife gardens filled with lush, colorful flowers and serene fountains, this fortress perched on a mountaintop makes for an unforgettable visit. Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring Granada — don’t forget to indulge in the local tapas culture, going from bar to bar and ordering a drink to receive a free tapa.

Day 9

Granada, Ronda, Sevilla

Start off the morning with a visit to Ronda, a breathtakingly beautiful town that inspired Hemingway during his time in Spain. Visit the historical bull ring, the Old Quarter, the Santa María la Mayor Church and the magnificent natural gorge with your local guide before enjoying lunch on your own. Then, you’ll be transferred to Sevilla.

Day 10

Sevilla

Your day will begin with a local expert guide showing you the highlights of Sevilla, a lively, likable city. You’ll view the Cathedral, home to the tomb of Christopher Columbus, then visit the Giralda tower, the Alcazar Palace and its majestic gardens and the hidden Santa Cruz quarter, discovering local haunts along the way.

Day 11

Sevilla, Jerez

Head south to visit the sherry capital of the world, Jerez de la Frontera. Your first stop is the

Royal Equestrian School where you can wander the grounds and stables behind the scenes before taking in a spectacular horse show. Next stop is the sherry winery. Normally closed to the public, you’ll get to special access, learning all about how sherry is made, including sampling the fortified wine and pairing it with tapas. After the visit, you’ll be transferred back to Sevilla for your final evening in Spain
