Day one: Barcelona Gastronomic Experience

The adventure kicks off at an old bodega turned tapas bar, where things have hardly changed since the 1930s. With a glass of the city’s favorite aperitif—sweet vermouth—in hand, you’ll enjoy tasting locally cured meats, cheeses, olives, and other Spanish delicacies.

Day two: Biking Guided Visit – Gaudi City Tour

Your private guide will take you on a whirlwind panoramic guided tour of this wonderful city by bike. This is a great way to get some exercise while learning your way around Barcelona’s historic streets. In the afternoon you will visit La Sagrada Familia and Park Güell accompanied by your local guide.

Day three: Day Trip to Montserrat & Wine Tour

Your destination is Catalonia’s holiest site, the 16th-century Benedictine monastery of Santa Maria de Montserrat. Sitting on a mountain at an altitude of 4,055 feet, the views from here are spectacular. You can reach the monastery on a 1.5-hour hike or simply take a five-minute cable-car. Afterward, you’ll visit Oller del Mas, a 10th-century castle that’s also a venerable winery.

Day four: San Sebastián- Tapas City Tour

After arriving to San Sebastián, your guide will lead you on a tour of the Parte Vieja (old quarter), where you’ll find the largest concentration of pintxos bars, sample as many of these bite-sized morsels as you’d like. Be sure to pair this incredible food with an equally delicious glass of txakoli, the local white wine.

Day five: Day Trip to Getaria

A half-hour down the coast from San Sebastián is a beautiful village rich in food culture and history. You will join our local foodie guide. He or she will lead you on an exploration of this town, which is deservedly famous for winemaking and delicious seafood.

Day six: Explore Bilbao

Day seven: Travel to Madrid vía Burgos

Today you will travel south to Madrid, on your way you will make a stop in Burgos where your local guide will be waiting for you to show you this beautiful city. After the tour, continue to Madrid and explore the city on your own.

Day eight: City Tour with a Local

Day nine: Day Trip to Toledo

Day fifteen: Depart

Today you catch your flight home full of memories of Cuba and wishing your stay had been longer.
