Day one: Madrid Gastronomic Experience

Start your trip with a gastronomic guided tour of Madrid. It’s the perfect tour to discover the lesser-known corners of Madrid while you try the culinary essence of the city and you meet proud food artisan.

Day two: Discover Madrid with a local guide

Your private guide will share with you the traditions and history of the city while you walk through the historic center and enjoy the views. You will explore its most outstanding cultural attractions while you learn the history of Madrid from its medieval roots, to modern times.

Day three: Day Trip to Toledo

Today you will travel to Toledo for a private day trip by train. Dramatically situated atop a gorge overlooking the Río Tajo, in the Middle Ages it was known as the “city of three cultures.” This is where—legend has it—Christian, Muslim, and Jewish communities peacefully coexisted.

Day four: La Rioja Wine Experience

Transfer to the wine region of La Rioja, located in the Basque Country. La Rioja is quite a postcard, with green hills, alpine mountains, limestone peaks, medieval villages, and endless vineyards. You will stop at local wineries and enjoy a visit to on the many wineries.

Day five: Explore Bilbao

Transfer to the imposing city of Bilbao, where you will explore the city with an expert guide on a gastronomic experience. This visit combines the culinary offerings of the Spanish Basque Country with the highlights of Bilbao. The old town is also the best place to enjoy local cuisine.

Day six: Visit Guggenheim Museum - Visit an underwater winery

Today you will visit the icon of Bilbao, the shiny titanium Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. It is one of the most emblematic buildings of modern architecture. In the afternoon, your guide will take you north to Plentzia, where you will visit the world’s first underwater winery.

Day seven: San Sebastián Guided Visit

Transfer to San Sebastián. On your way, you will stop in Guernica. Once a Republican stronghold during the Spanish Civil War, it was nearly destroyed by a Nazi air raid in 1937. Upon arrival to San Sebastián, your local guide will be waiting for you to start a privately guided visit of the city.

Day eight: Depart
